Primary Responsibilities:

- Provide highest standard of courteous service to each customer.
- Promptly process customers' orders for automotive paint using equipment and according to franchise procedures for colour matching.
- Provide technical advice to customers on products, mixing ratios, preparation and application techniques as necessary.
- Liaise with customers to confirm that they are obtaining suitable refinishing results. Where unable to resolve, promptly report issue and/or refer matter to Supervisor and/or technical department for follow-up.
- Acquire and maintain thorough knowledge of all automotive refinishing products and application techniques.
- To provide assistance to customers in locating items and provide consultative advice on items (i.e. benefits of product, alternatives, use & application etc.)
- Solicit sales of paint ancillary products by "suggestive", "related item" or "substitute" selling techniques as appropriate.
- Responsible for ensuring that paint room area, work top, floor, walls, mixing computers and mixing bank are neat and clean at all times.
- Responsible for cleaning and maintaining equipment in proper working order as per franchise procedures.
- Responsible for ensuring that paint room tints are stocked at all times. Includes taking inventory, identifying missing stock, placing replenishment orders and restocking & merchandising products.
- Responsible for performing duties in a safe manner.
- To fulfill other responsibilities or tasks as assigned by the Retail Supervisor and/or Retail Manager.
- Adhere strictly to all franchise service, housekeeping, security, safety, code of conduct, uniform standards, operating practices and other rules and policies as developed or amended from time to time.
- Develop and maintain a team working relationship based on mutual respect for other employees.
- Assist in the service bay or other areas of the store when necessary.
